Silent Witnesses Artistic Project - Limited edition fine art print

“They have been here long before us, if they could speak who knows what they would tell us…
History has passed under their gaze:
wars, destruction, reconstruction,
economic development, consumerism,
failures,
work, our small lives…
Would they be happy with where and how we are going?
Yet there they stand, as always…
do they watch us or do they prefer to ignore us in silence?”

This project stems from a reflection on the historical, political and social changes in continuous evolution/involution in our territory.

With the urgency to seek beauty around me, I took refuge in the thousand faces that surround us, some reassuring, others apparently judging, still others suffering, many decidedly sensual, others more metaphysical.

This project has received the following recognitions:
– Tokyo International Foto Award 2024 – Bronze in the Fine Art Portfolio category (https://www.tokyofotoawards.jp/winners/social/2024/23-49142-24/)
